The year is 1924, and we live in Oklahoma, the Oil Capital of the World.
Let me introduce you to my family. There's Papa and Mama, and they adopted the three of us;
my big sister Penelope who is a beautiful Ballerina, 

my little brother Dearest Harvey

and me, Angela

We all live together in a big oil mansion with an enormous yard to play in. There are Angels everywhere cause Mama collects Angel stuff.  Papa, he dances and sings with us and creates fun musical inventions. And we all Dream big!                                         

  Our favorite playmate is Violet  

Violet is special, because she is always saying and doing unexpected things.

Her grandmother is Zella, and she runs the house and keeps us.

Parson Brown, who teaches us about God, and my big sister Penelope, believe an untruth that they cannot be together, still they sort of love each other.

But Miss Crabgrass does not believe in love, and she is always causing trouble. She is very grumpy, so we try to cheer her up with flowers. But she is determined to be unlovable.

We are all excitedly making preparations for our "Patriotic Day Celebration". We wear costumes of red, white and blue, stars and stripes, and we get to perform on a real stage.
And there is "The La Fleur Extravaganza" where we dress up in very fancy dresses and fancy hats with flowers and ribbons and lace and ruffles. It will be so delightful.

We are a musical family. We all sing and dance and create ways to have fun. And me and Harvey and Violet love playing and sharing Heart Truths with each other.  We also spend lots of time exploring and looking for the Flower Secret!
